Played by over 30,000 golfers every season the 18th hole offers a breath-taking backdrop of the historic Palladian Manor House, reflective lake and picturesque Boat House-said to have been custom built for Queen Victoria. Inspired by the greatest links lands of the world, The Montgomerie, an inland links experience, pays tribute to the traditions of the game and sets a challenge like no other. Designed by Colin Montgomerie with numerous cavernous bunkers to test even the seasoned golfer, journey across 7,300 yards of impeccable greens and vast fairways as you play on the soil many an Irish Open champion has.
