GBN ON CASA SERENA AS MEMBER OF WLG
Czech private club stands ready to host corporate events of the highest niveau
The exclusive Casa Serena Château & Golf Resort located near the historical UNESCO town of Kutna Hora in Bohemia, Czech Republic, has become member of World of Leading Golf in spring 2015. Now, the most popular online golf business magazine GBN reports on the backgrounds of the Czech Republic’s No.1 golf course*.
The estate’s rebirth was the work of a Taiwanese industrialist, Terry Gou, who revitalised the dilapidated chateau, following its purchase in 2001, with the intention of making it into a private escape for his wife Serena. In order to ensure the immaculate condition of the establishments and course, Casa Serena remains a private club only selectively available for exclusive corporate events or tournaments.
Having become a member of World of Leading Golf has Casa Serena’s director Petr Škoda looking towards an even more profiled future: “Joining WLG enables us to network with like-minded venues and build strong relationships as we seek to establish ourselves as one of the best venues in Europe.” Because despite being a private Club, the venue is currently undergoing further strategic and constructional reforms in order to attract more of the relevant target audience in the country.
*Ranked by the Top100golfcourses.co.uk to be the number one golf course in the country
