INTRODUCING WLG MEMBER MIKLAGARD
Distinguished Norwegian golf club joins the community of quality and values

Situated a mere 10 minutes drive from Oslo, Miklagard Golf is favoured by many experienced European golfers for the length of the Robert Trent Jones Jr. course, the fastness of the holes and the pristine caretaking of the grounds.
In respect to the lands history, all holes at Miklagard were named after Norse gods and kings. Even the signs, buildings and appearance of the track are inspired by the Norse history – although the Klubb itself is only 15 years old. The Robert Trent Jones Jr. course was designed to be a tournament course while maintaining a natural look and feel. In consequence, the many changes in elevation pose a real challenge for the golfer so that the club management highly recommends for guests to choose the tees matching their handicap.
Just like the 18-hole golf course, the facilities are often highly praised for their uniqueness just as much as for their impeccable condition, despite the tough winters. Fascinating to many non Northerners is the archaic seeming design of the clubhouse with its grass roof. Of course, everything inside is made to accommodate any modern golfers demands – from the Pro Shop to lounges and meeting rooms and finally the cozy restaurant, which serves a nice view across the holes along with selected dishes on the terrace.
