OFFICIAL WELCOMING AT DER ÖSCHBERGHOF
WLG CEO Caus Feldt visits ambitious German member club
On Friday, the 30th of June, WLG CEO Claus Feldt met with Alexander Joos, Sports Director of Der Öschberghof to officially welcome the club into the union and talk about the exciting developments at the venue: In 2017 Der Öschberghof plans to expand its course grounds to encompass 45 holes as well as widening its overall recreational areas and upgrading the hotel with 125 guest rooms and fine dining.
To involve members and guests in the ambitious project of completely overhauling the place, Der Öschberhofs Managing Director Alexander Aisenbrey regularly addresses them by publishing brochures and updating them via internet. The team, of course, keeps taking great care of golf and hotel guests so nobody has to miss the warmth and attentiveness they were accustomed to.
Since, even in its current state of reconstruction, the “Old Course” and its golfing establishments had no trouble passing the World of Leading Golf Mystery Test, CEO Claus Feldt is confident, that the venue’s vision will be matched: Der Öschberghof is aiming at becoming one of the most outstanding and popular sophisticated golf destinations in Germany and beyond. By 2018 it will not only offer a very versatile and challenging 45 holes, the Driving Range, Caddy Hall and Golf Academy are all being rebuilt, a new hotel restaurant will open ist doors in 2018 and the new lobby with day bar will round up the concept. For visitors wishing to extend their stay, there will not only be luxurious rooms, a 5.000 sqm SPA with a completely new Asian section and separate ‘Harmony’-, ‘Energy’- and ‘Ladies’-areas for individual relaxation.
