QUALITY CONFIRMED AS KEY TO CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AT WLG IGTM EVENT
Members, prospects and associates of WLG adamant about Leading Standards
Invited by the WLG management, business persons from all over the golfing world got together after the IGTM for an evening of exchange at Golf Costa Adeje. Host and Director of the club Paul de Sterck and the WLG representatives Claus Feldt and Jürgen Hansen were satisfied to hear that most guests shared their opinion when it came to quality and service: all attendants were sure that superiority in those aspects were the key to success.
Amongst the unsurprisingly large group of event guests from southwestern European clubs, there were Kristoff Both (Alcanada) and David Shepherd (Monte Rei) as well as Francisco De Lancastre (Finca Cortesin) and Carlos Beautell (Olagolf). WLG ambassador Kurtulus Gülsen brought in a group of Turkish golf club personnel, some of them from WLG member clubs as well. Regarding the growing competition at the Turkish Riviera, they too sought means of ameliorating customer services and greenkeeping. One of those means will surely be the further development of the World of Leading Gold Concierge Services concept, the new marketing tool for WLG member clubs. The web platform will enable them to make special offers directed solely and exclusively at member golfers of World of Leading Golf member clubs. The amelioration of customer services, of course, also is the main focus of WLG mystery shopping partner 59Club and director Marc Reed had much to add to the discussion.
Attending the illustrious group also was Howie Roberts, General Manager of Abu Dhabi’s renowned Yas Links. Paying respect to the very successful efforts made by golf clubs in the Emirates, the WLG team is in continuous contact with the most relevant establishments there, the luxurious Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club at the oasis city of Al Ain amongst them. Besides getting positive feedback from the Gulf States, WLG is attracting a lot of attention from some very select golf destinations in North Africa, for example by the stunning Assoufid Golf Club in Marrakech.
All in all, the atmosphere at the WLG After Work event at Tenerife was good and all guests were positive about their club’s futures, despite or because of the changes necessary in order to meet the rising expectations of the sophisticated golfer.
